Most Materials can be Laser Engraved, in most cases the Laser will change the color of the Plastic, reacting with the pigment in it, and without having to back fill with a color. We can mark on Flat, Curved, Irregular, or Hard to Reach Surfaces, with Logos, Graphics, or Alpha Numeric. Depths from Surface (.0001") to Deep (.015") or Greater.
This gearshift knob is made of hard phenolic plastic and is for an antique car. The Laser was chosen to re-produce the shift pattern becasuse of its ability to engrave a consistent depth (.040") over a compound curved surface, the wall straightness and the square corners.
